ABILITIES
Gyre PrimePASSIVE Gyre's abilities have a 10% chance to deal critical damage for each Electrical status that affects the enemy.
Arcsphere
Launch a Gyratory Sphere that will deal high damage on impact and periodically deal electrical shocks to nearby enemies. Hit multiple enemies at once with the initial launch to enhance damage.
Coil Horizon
Throw forward a Gyratory Sphere that will implode after a few seconds or can be manually triggered.
Cathode Grace
Gain a brief burst of increased Critical Chance and Energy Regen, with each kill extending duration of Cathode Grace. Casting is on a cooldown.
Rotorswell
Gyre's mechanisms spin at incredible speeds, generating an Electric Field that shocks nearby enemies. When Gyre gets a critical hit, a large electrical discharge will chain from the enemy that was hit to nearby enemies.
CEPHALON FIELD GUIDE
How to play this build.
Tenno. This Gyre is the Mecha-set ability build: Rotorswell and Coil Horizon chain electric through a grouped room, the Mecha set spreads the kills, Roar subsumed multiplies it, and Huras keeps you invisible.
How it works
As The Grounded Chain (#079), but with the Mecha set instead of a strip subsume: Mecha Empowered's mark multiplies electric DoT, and the kill-spread carries it.
Roar over 1.
Without a Huras, swap the aura for Corrosive Projection and Mecha Pulse for Primed Flow, Equilibrium or Rolling Guard.
Helminth
Roar over 1.
Where it struggles
Fragile frame; lean on Coil Horizon and Huras.
Bosses.
Cold-start cooldown risk on Cathode Grace.
Variants
The Live Wire (#043) is the weapon platform; The Grounded Chain (#079) is the strip-subsume ability build.
Strengths and weaknesses
Strong: strong grouped electric nuke with almost no weapon investment, invisible.
Weak: fragile, boss-blind, needs a Kubrow.
