DantePASSIVE Noctua scans targets, recording information for your Codex. Status Chance increases by 50% on fully scanned targets.
Noctua
Open Noctua, Dante's Exalted Tome, and unleash a tale of woe upon his enemies.
Light Verse
Dante's vitalizing composition grants him and his allies Overguard and restores their Health.
Dark Verse
Dante's composition draws blood from nearby enemies, inflicting Slash Damage upon them.
Final Verse
Dante must compose two other Verses before his Final Verse. TRIUMPH: Two Light Verses cast in succession invigorate allies. TRAGEDY: Two Dark Verses cast in succession devastate enemies. WORDWARDEN: Light then Dark supports allies with Noctua copies. PAGEFLIGHT: Dark then Light summons Paragrimms.
CEPHALON FIELD GUIDE
How to play this build.
Tenno. Skip Tragedy and the verse combos; just arm Noctua and shoot. High Strength, high Duration for the invocation and buff uptime, and a status or heat build on the exalted itself.
How it works
Strength scales Noctua's damage; Archon Vitality (rank 0) doubles its heat procs on a heat build.
Range is dumped.
Two Amber cast-speed and three Topaz secondary crit-chance shards.
Where it struggles
No area nuke (that is Tragedy).
Bosses take the exalted.
Line-of-sight for the beam.
Variants
Verse of Ruin (#005) is the full-kit slash-nuke Dante.
Who runs this
Players who want Dante purely as a Noctua DPS chassis.

CEPHALON FIELD GUIDE
How to play this build.
Tenno. Noctua is a crit-heavy tome. Modded for heat or electric with the Galvanized status core, it is a real damage weapon, and its invocation slot can carry energy regeneration or a utility proc instead.
The mods
Primed Pistol Gambit plus Primed Target Cracker are the crit core; Galvanized Shot is damage-per-status; Galvanized Diffusion is multishot; Pistol Elementalist boosts status damage.
The invocation slot is flexible: Magnetic Might or Accelerated Isotope for DPS, Xata or Vome Invocation for regeneration.
Pair with external fire rate (Reinforced Bond, Arcane Velocity).
Where it struggles
Low base fire rate without buffs.
Slow reload.
Variants
The Book of Fire (#116) is Dante's pure-Noctua frame build.
Who runs this
Dante players who want the tome to actually kill things.

Slow reload.
Variants

CEPHALON FIELD GUIDE
How to play this build.
Tenno. Viral-electric Noctua built so only one mod (Galvanized Diffusion) ever needs a kill to stay stacked. Hornet Strike and Cascadia Flare carry the base damage.
The mods
Hornet Strike is unconditional damage; Primed Target Cracker is crit damage; Secondary Enervate lifts crit chance; Pistol Elementalist multiplies the electric damage-over-time; Galvanized Diffusion is the only kill-gated mod.
Lohk Canticle is flexible for Jahu Canticle if you want passive strip.
Swap Lethal Torrent for Magnetic Might against Thrax with external fire rate.
