How to play this build.
Tenno. Heat inherit means every later heat proc copies the heat damage and faction damage of the very first stack applied. So this Epitaph loads that first stack with every heat and faction multiplier it can, then your main weapon inherits it.
How it works
Heat status ticks for 0.5x modded base damage times heat and faction multipliers over six seconds, and every refresh reuses the first stack's heat and faction values.
Load the first tap with Primed Heated Charge, Scorch and Primed Expel Grineer so that inherited stack is enormous.
Secondary Fortifier steals overguard.

The mechanic is fiddly and faction-specific.
Near-zero direct damage.
