CEPHALON FIELD GUIDE

How to play this build.

Tenno. Built to stack heat status without needing kills to hold mods. Archon Vitality doubles heat procs and Arcane Hot Shot supplies crit, so Noctua just keeps the fire going.

The mods

Cascadia Flare is unconditional base damage (no kill upkeep); Pistol Elementalist multiplies the heat damage-over-time; Primed Pistol Gambit plus Primed Target Cracker are crit; Galvanized Diffusion is multishot; Primed Heated Charge plus Frostbite plus Pistol Pestilence build heat and viral.

Boost fire rate externally (Reinforced Bond, Arcane Velocity).

Where it struggles

Low base fire rate without buffs.

Slow reload.

Variants

The Burning Page (#260) is the hybrid utility tome; The Silent Page (#279) is the viral-electric version.

Who runs this

Dante players leaning on heat inherit.
